LA PLATA, Md. — This summer, Charles County is inviting the community to show off their favorite local spots—cafés, shops, eateries and more—for a chance to win a $200 gift card. The With Love From Charles Summer Photo Challenge, running through Aug. 8, encourages the community to explore small businesses, capture the moment and share it on social media to enter.
Participants can enter up to three times by visiting different participating businesses. No purchase is required to enter, but buying gift cards or merchandise is encouraged to support the local economy.
One winner will be selected at random and announced after the challenge concludes on Aug. 8. The prize is a $200 With Love From Charles digital gift card, redeemable at dozens of locally owned businesses throughout Charles County.
How To Enter:
- Visit any business that participates in the With Love From Charles gift card program.
- Take a photo during your visit—this could include your meal, a product, the storefront or a selfie with the staff.
- Post the photo publicly on Instagram or Facebook.
- Tag the official accounts:
