EASTON, Md. — The rumble of diesel engines and the gleam of polished chrome filled the Tuckahoe Steam & Gas Association grounds on Saturday, Nov. 8, as truck enthusiasts from across the region gathered for the 5th Annual Shore Good Truck Show and Pull.
The daylong show ran from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and mixed a judged show-and-shine with afternoon pulling and a dusk light show.
Southern Maryland made a strong showing on both the track and the show lot. Rigs from St. Mary’s County and Anne Arundel County — including eye-catching entries from Bowles Trucking and JAL Services — drew steady crowds, with several local drivers competing in the Street Semi, Hot Street Semi, Pro Street 4.1 Turbo, and Dump Truck classes.

B. A. Spalding Trucking LLC of Southern Maryland captured third place in its truck pull class, adding to the region’s strong representation at the event.
The event also featured Best in Show categories such as Tractors, Dump Truck, Pre-1987 Truck/Tractor, Kid’s Choice, Combo, Tow Truck, Service Truck, and Farm. Trophies and payouts were offered for first through third place in each pulling class.
Organizers opened the grounds Friday to stage trucks and vendors, recommending combo rigs arrive early because space was limited. The weekend wrapped Sunday with load-out and cleanup.

Admission was free. Proceeds benefited the Tuckahoe Steam & Gas Association and the Diabetes Research Institute, continuing the show’s nonprofit mission.
