Doris B. Waul, 41 of St. Leonard, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on July 3 at 10:45 p.m. when police asked her to stop her speeding vehicle in the parking lot of the Rod ‘N Reel.
The fireworks display had ended and a large crowd of people were walking to their vehicles when Waul came speeding into the parking lot.
Lt. Richard Thomas stepped into the path of her vehicle and ordered her to stop. Waul complained she was late for work and shouted profanities while getting out of her vehicle. She would not produce her license or vehicle registration and continued to use profanities and act in a disorderly manner so she was arrested.
