At 12:39 a.m. on May 20, Officer C. Wimberly conducted a traffic stop on a green Ford Taurus on Crain Highway at DeMarr Road in Waldorf. The vehicle, which was being operated by Yolanda Mason, 41, of La Plata, was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Investigation revealed Mason’s driving privilege was suspended. She was arrested, at which time officers discovered suspected marijuana.
Mason was charged with possession of marijuana and numerous other traffic charges to include driving under the influence.
