
WALDORF, Md. — Grab your bags and get ready, Waldorf — a fresh new grocery experience is arriving in town. Sprouts Farmers Market will open its doors on Friday, Aug. 1, marking its highly anticipated debut in Southern Maryland.
The new store, located at 3000 Festival Way in the former HHGregg building at Crain Highway and Berry Road, will kick off its grand opening with a full weekend of celebration. From Aug. 1 through Aug. 3, customers can enjoy giveaways, in-store tastings, outdoor activities and special offers as part of the three-day event.

Grand Opening Highlights
Friday, Aug. 1
- 6:45 a.m. – Ribbon-cutting ceremony
- 7 a.m. – Doors open
- First 200 shoppers: Free reusable bag with samples (While supplies last. In-store only.)
- First 400 shoppers: Free long-stem rose from Falcon Farms (While supplies last. In-store only.)
- 7 a.m.–5 p.m. – Outdoor Pop-up Party (samples, contests, scavenger hunt)
- 10 a.m.–4 p.m. – In-store product tastings
Saturday, Aug. 2
- 7 a.m. – Doors open
