ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL FINE ARTS CAMPS SCHEDULED

    LEONARDTOWN, MD — St. Mary’s County Fine Arts Camps will be offered this summer on a revised schedule.  Due to issues associated with the current 2011-2012 budget, the school system will be operating on a four-day work week.  Therefore, the 2011 Fine Arts camps will also operate on a four-day schedule this year.  

St. Mary’s County Public Schools will be sponsoring the Elementary School Summer Fine Arts Camp, June 27 – 30, 2011, for students completing grades 3, 4, and 5; and the Middle School Summer Fine Arts Camp, July 11 – 14, 2011, for students completing grades 6, 7, and 8.  Both camps will be held at Leonardtown High School from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for students to participate in enrichment activities in one of the following course areas:  band, chorus
