This evening, around 7 p.m., St. Mary’s County Government issued a Code Red warning of possible flooding for the area. A costal flood watch is in effect from tonight until late Wednesday night. During this time there may be tides one to three feet above normal or high tides.
A costal flood watch means that conditions are conducive to flooding.
