The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has released performance on the Maryland State Assessment (MSA) in Reading and Mathematics. These assessments are administered to all students in grades 3-8. The following tables show the percentage of proficient students in St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) at each grade level in the aggregate for the 2010-2011 school year:
