Assault- On April 1, 2021, Cpl. D. Smith responded to the 25500 block of Pt. Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. The victim advised the suspect brandished what the victim thought was a rifle, and shot the victim in the arm. Investigation determined Joshua Mark Bragalone, age 40, of Leonardtown, shot the victim in the arm with a BB gun. Bragalone was arrested and charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree. CASE# 17468-21

Possession of Contraband at Place of Confinement- On April 2, 2021, DFC. Ball responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center, for the reported found contraband. A correctional officer searching Anthony Michael Yorke, age 29 of La Plata, discovered a baggie containing suspected marijuana on Yorke’s person. Yorke was charged with Possession of Contraband at Place of Confinement. CASE# 17614-21

Burglary- On April 3, 2021, Dep. Palmer responded to the 22900 block of Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown, for the reported burglary in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and located Elise Grace Remington, age 28 of Fruitland, in the victim’s residence. The victims advised they were awakened to Remington being in their residence, and are unfamiliar with Remington. Remington was arrested and charged with Burglary 4th Degree. CASE# 17812-21

Assault- On April 3, 2021, Dep. Chase responded to the 30000 block of Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Sidney Thurman Brooks III, age 39 of Prince Frederick, assaulted the victim by striking her in the face, causing visible injury. Assault- On April 4, 2021, Dep. Edelen responded to the 30000 block of Tomahawk Court in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Laryssa Jean Wall, age 25 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by scratching the victim and pushing the victim. Assault- On April 6, 2021, Dep. Wilson responded to the 38400 block of Arlington Drive in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Brian Timothy Finley, age 36 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by grabbing the victim and pulling the victim through the residence, causing visible injury to the victim’s leg. Violation of Protective Order- On April 6, 2021, DFC. Budd responded to the 46300 block of Columbus Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported violation of a protective order. Investigation determined Philip Desales Miles, age 30 of La Plata, was at the victim’s residence in violation of a current court order preventing Miles from being at the residence. Assault- On April 6, 2021, Dep. Raley responded to the 46300 block of Columbus Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Michael Anthony McCoy Jr., age 31 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by strangling the victim, causing visible injury to the victim’s neck. The victim also advised McCoy showed her what the victim believes to be a firearm. McCoy was arrested and charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree. CASE# 18459-21
