Drug Arrest- On May 13, 2020, Dep. Wynnyk responded to the 41500 block of First Colony Way in California, for the reported theft. Investigation determined James Craig Proctor, age 32 of Great Mills, had concealed items belonging to the business on his person, and left the store. Proctor also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Proctor was arrested and located in his jacket was a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance (suspected cocaine), and a plastic straw. Also located in Proctor’s pants pocket were two white prescription pills (suspected Gabapentin). Proctor was charged with two counts of CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana and Theft. CASE# 29789-20

Drug Arrest- On May 20, 2020, Cpl. LaFave responded to the 21300 block of Bristol Avenue in Lexington Park, for a warrant service. James William Blackiston III, age 26 of Lexington Park, was arrested on several outstanding warrants. Located on Blackiston was a folded dollar bill containing a white powder substance (suspected cocaine). Blackiston was served the outstanding warrants and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana. Assault- On May 25, 2020, Dep. Snyder was in the 21700 block of St. Lo Place in Lexington Park, when he observed a disturbance. Dep. Snyder made contact with the parties involved at which time Darlene Marie Buckler, age 21 of Lexington Park, began interjecting in the investigation and hindered Dep. Snyder’s ability to speak with an individual involved. Buckler was advised to cease her actions, however she continued to yell and hinder the investigation causing bystanders to gather andย watch the incident. Buckler was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing and Hindering. CASE# 32814-20 (No Photograph Available)
Drug/Gun Arrest- On May 27, 2020, Dep. Forinash responded to the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with Timothy Wayne Brooks, age 49 of Great Mills, who was an occupant in the vehicle. CDS paraphernalia was observed in the vehicle, and a vehicle search yielded a digital scale with a white powdery substance on it, (suspected cocaine). A rifle was located in the trunk of the vehicle, and Brooks is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to previous convictions. Brooks was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia, Rifle/Shotgun Possession with Felony Conviction, CDS: Possession of Firearms, and Rifle/Shotgun Possession by Disqualified Person. Violate Protective Order- On May 29, 2020, Dep. Snyder responded to the 26700 block of Yowaski Mill Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported disturbance. Dep. Snyder located Richard Lawrence Fox, age 37 of Lanham on scene. Fox was wanted on outstanding warrants, and there was a valid court order prohibiting Fox from contacting the victim and being at the victim’s residence. Fox was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order, and served the outstanding warrants.ย (No Photograph Available)
Assault- On May 29, 2020, Dep. Graves responded to the 21400 block of Prather Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Karen Louise Ferriter, age 51 of Lexington Park, slapped the victim in the face and also struck the victim in face with a basket, causing visible injury. Ferriter was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 33745-20

Theft- On May 29, 2020, Dep. Edelen responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Donte James Jeter-Prince, age 21 of Callaway, removed food items from a vending machine located in the Work Release Unit, without purchasing the items. Burglary/Assault- On May 31, 2020, Dep. Edwards responded to the 19200 block of St. George’s Church Road in Valley Lee, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Michael Robert Krell, age 28 of Indian Head, forced entry to the victim’s residence and assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the face and body multiple times. Theft- On May 15, 2020, Dep. Burgess responded to the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California, for the reported fraud.ย Investigation determined Angela Lynne Deaton, age 38 Great Mills, had used the victim’s lost/stolen credit card to make numerous purchases.ย On May 31, 2020, Dep. Burgess responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center in Leonardtown, and charged Deaton with two counts of Theft, Theft Scheme, and Credit Card/Steal Another’s. CASE# 30221-20
