LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The following message was distributed by the St. Mary’s County State’s Attorney’s office regarding the recent sentencing of Michael Shone Fear:

“On January 28, 2022, Michael Shone Fear, dob: 10-02-1977, was sentenced to 10 years active incarceration for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl to another.

State’s Attorney Richard Fritz would like to thank the Narcotics Division of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department for a job well done.

State’s Attorney Fritz would also like to remind the public that this is the very drug that is causing so many deaths in the U.S. today.”
