Since 2010 St. Michael’s parishioners and students have participated in an annual pilgrimage. The first pilgrimage was a longer joumey from St. Ignatius Chapel to St. Michael’s.ย  The initial quest was for the continuation of our school.

On Monday, September 29, 2014 was the Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, the patron Saint of our school. Father Peter Giovanoni selected this as the date for this year’s pilgrimage.

We continued the tradition of the pilgrimage but shortened the distance walked. We began at St.ย Peter Claver Church and walk to St. Michael’s Church. A Eucharistic celebration was held at the end of the pilgrimage that was planned by the teachers.

We are grateful for the members ofย Ridge Rescue Squad, Paula Turner & Paul Sullivan for their safe supervision . We areย appreciative of Danny Reppel for monitoring traffic and keeping pace with all our devoted walkers.
