ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE) reminds eligible Marylanders that they can still register to vote in the 2024 primary election. To maximize voter registration, SBE this week is mailing postcards to approximately 750,000 Marylanders who are not registered to inform them they can still register and vote during early voting and on election day.
“Registering to vote is the critical first step to ensuring your voice is heard in this year’s primary election,” said State Administrator Jared DeMarinis. “We encourage every eligible Marylander to find their local early voting center or polling place and bring the necessary documentation to register and exercise their right to vote.”
Two Options for Voter Registration
In-Person Early Voting: Marylanders can register to vote during in-person early voting, which begins Thursday, May 2, 2024, and ends Thursday, May 9, 2024. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Make sure to bring a document that proves where you live. A list of early voting locations can be found online (Spanish version). Please note that some locations have been changed or added since the last election.
In-Person Voting on Election Day: Marylanders can also register to vote on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Be sure to bring a document that proves where you live when you visit your local polling place.

for the homeless: please keep in mind the homeless can vote, they just have to tell the election board where they stay, most of the time, to know what district to put them in. Even though the VRA asks for an address.
An apology to those that are not Republican/ Democrat and are excluded from the Circuit Court Judge vote in the Primary.
its too bad those that are incarcerated cannot vote in Maryland, as if they have nothing to say about the matter. There are states that allow it.
Yes, we really need convicted criminals to pick our representatives. After all, who would the best criminals to RE-ELECT?
Why does the Bord of education pay so little? Whats the explanation for why the BOE pays so little? You could spend 4 years pay getting into office.
Why don’t we have terms on our ballots? To remind us of of who we vote for, thats how long they’ll stay in office if elected? It would be so simple to put terms on the ballot, why isn’t it done?
Voting is a scam, the government controls who’s in office, not the people
I can’t believe people think their vote counts, hilarious
