LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Maryland State Police arrested a man following a barricade situation Wednesday in St. Mary’s County.
Shortly after 4 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack, along with deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 23800 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, Maryland for a report of an assault in which the suspect fired a gun in the air.
The suspect, identified as Mark Anthony Buckler, 40, was inside the home with his wife and his three children.

Following consultation with the St. Mary’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, Buckler was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and failure to comply with the provisions of a final extreme protective order.
Troopers from the Criminal Enforcement Division – Southern Region will be conducting the investigation into this case.

Has the MSP learned from its killing of Jamie Dean in 12/2006?

Mandatory psych exam ,,,looks a lot like Manson …redruM in the wings..
I just read the Jamie Dean story ,,, I was not aware of the incident .
Now I know more,,,,
Sheriff Cameron was new to the job …. he vowed not to let MSP overtake him in such a situation again. He was fairly successful.
I was one of the victims in this crime, an I’m so thankful that me nor my wife were injured in the altercation. I’mso glad he’s being held on no bond! An I pray that when courts comes we get the justice that we deserve this was a very surreal an scary situation. I feel for his 3 small children that he involved by not just surrendering an going inside his house potentially putting them in harms way if something worse happening.
He shot at me because I came to pickup MY TRUCK he was “supposedly working on and it was gone. Like 3 other victims he stole from. Also committed insurancefraud and took 3 grand from a friend of mine.” he’s a thief, a drug addict. Who takes someone’s vehicle who actually works for what they have. Whoever knows this clown and where he may be stashing numerous vehicles if mines found there’s a cash reward!! How do u shoot at someone after u stole their vehicle and refuse to give it back. I hope he rots in jail where he belongs. If ANYONE knows any information inbox me anonymously idc. It’s a ford explorer. I have a few ideas. But I PROMISE U THIS there will be severe repercussions for all involved with this woman beating junkie. If ANYONE HAS INFORMATION contact me directly and there will be a reward.
This their drug addict junkie stole my truck when I came to pick it up it was gone. And refuses to tell me where it is. This trash scum bucket shot at me with his own kids outside. Fake mechanic stealing ppls hard earned money and cars for drugs! Cash reward for anyone that leads me to my vehicle. cashhhh reward
You must be really naive to even allow this guy to work on your car. It doesn’t take a trained psychologist to see that he’s dangerous and not trustworthy.
I work at the liquor store near where he lives and he USE to be a frequent customer. He was a mechanic until he claims his boss laid him off. He was a decent mechanic too, so its pretty practical that he could get people to let him work on their vehicles…however the rest of this crap…jesus…
I’m pretty sure I’d have to be blind, deaf and have no sense of smell to trust this guy with anything. Helen Keller would know better
He was a recently laid off mechanic (dont know the specifics as to his termination…just going by what he said). Like within the last year. I know alot of mechanics build up a rep and can get work on the side. That being said…he looks a lil different and acted different over the course of this year, and came into my store less. But yea, not too far fetched unless you were around him alot.
