Lanham, Md. – On Nov. 6 at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Maryland State Police, College Park Barrack responded to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian on southbound I-495/95 south of Goodluck Road, Lanham, Maryland. 

A witness on the scene advised a tractor trailer drove onto the right shoulder and struck the rear driver side portion of the victim’s vehicle and then struck the pedestrian that was standing on the right shoulder near his disabled vehicle.

The victim was identified Josue Exsau Vasquez, 28, of DC.  He sustained a laceration to his head, arm and leg and was transported to Prince George’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The striking vehicle, an unkown tractor trailer, failed to stop and was not located.  Witnesses were unable to provide any information on the striking tractor trailer.
