As summer temperatures continue to rise, St. Mary’s County residents do not have to go far to stay cool. With more than 400 miles of shoreline, waterfront restaurants, marinas, beaches, pools and rivers, St. Mary’s County residents have easy access to the Chesapeake Bay and two of its major tributaries—the Patuxent River and the Potomac.
