On April 1, Deputy Glen Knott responded to Walmart in California for a reported theft. Knot learned Anthony S. Thirouin, 25, of California was observed by a store employee attempting to leave the business without paying for merchandise.
When confronted, Thirouin was found in possession of a Power Wheels 12 volt battery for which he had not paid. Thirouin was arrested, charged with theft under $100 and released to the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
