Suspects In Stolen Hyundai Slam Into Two Cars, Smash Fences In Lexington Park; All Caught [VIDEO]

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Four people fled a crash Sunday morning, Nov. 9, 2025, after a stolen SUV struck multiple parked cars and fences along Spring Valley Drive, according to Maryland State Police.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., troopers from the Leonardtown Barrack and local emergency personnel responded to the 21000 block of Spring Valley Drive for a multivehicle crash.

Arriving units found a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe without registration plates and two damaged vehicles believed to belong to a nearby resident. A preliminary investigation indicates the Hyundai was traveling southbound, left the roadway, crossed a front yard, hit a fence, struck a parked Ford Explorer and a Nissan Altima, then hit another fence before stopping. A homeowner’s Ring camera captured the incident.

Investigators determined the driver was a juvenile who attempted to run but was held at the scene by the homeowner. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for injuries.

The Hyundai was unregistered; the last listed owner informed investigators the vehicle had been stolen. With assistance from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, three additional occupants — two juveniles and one adult — were located, and two were taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
