Calvert Conty Sheriff’s Dep. Justin Livingston responded to a home on Lower Marlboro Road in Huntingtown on Dec.14 at 10:30 p.m. for a theft in progress call. The homeowner advised that he observed an unknown man inside his van rummaging through its contents. The homeowner called out and the man fled on foot. The owner stated that nothing appeared to be missing from his vehicle, which had been unlocked.
A second victim, who lives on Briscoe Turn Road in Owings, advised Dep. Livingston that on December 15 at 12:30 a.m. he observed an unknown man inside his vehicle but chased him off. This victim did not think anything was missing, either.
