At 2:36 am, on Friday, February 16, TFC Trossbach observed a gray Oldsmobile Cutlass failing to drive in a single lane.
A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, William Alford Tyler, 51, of Seat Pleasant, Maryland. A routine check of Mr. Tyler’s driver’s license revealed he was driving on a suspended Maryland license.
During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Tyler resisted arrest and was later subdued with the assistance of Tpr. Brill.
Mr. Tyler was found to be in possession of a plastic bag of marijuana.
He was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while suspended. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
