Suspicious package found on base given ‘all clear’

Authorities from NAS PAX River has given the “all clear” regarding a suspicious package found in building 2272. All personnel may resume normal operations. 

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – A suspicious package found on NAS Pax River has resulted in the partial evacuation of Building 2272. Reports say that a military working dog has inspected the package and indicated the package was safe. As a precaution, EOD personnel will inspect the package to ensure that it is safe. 

All hands will remain clear of the affected areas of Building 2272 until the scene is cleared.
