On June 22, Corporal B Connelly responded to Target Department Store in California, for a report of theft.
Investigation revealed employee, William Lawrence Crowell III, 24 of California, was observed via surveillance cameras placing electronic items into a cardboard box. Crowell then walked the box, containing the items out of the store without paying for them. Further investigation reveal Crowell had stolen numerous other electronic items between the dates of June 8, and June 22.
Crowell was arrested and charged with theft over $500 and committing a theft scheme. The total loss value in the thefts exceeded $4,000.
