Washington DCJuly 30, According to news sources, ten people have been shot in less than 24 hours in D.C. over the weekend — including two men who died.

D.C. police said the first in the series of shootings happened about 9:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of 15th Street NW. Two men were shot and then drove themselves to an area hospital, police said. No one has been arrested.
A short time later, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot in the 300 block of Anacostia Avenue NE. He was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the shooting happened in the 3500 block of Minnesota Avenue SE. Officers canvassed the area, but could not find any suspects.
About 11:26 p.m., a man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound. Police said he was driving in the 3800 block of Hayes Street NE when someone opened fire into his car, striking him. Police are still searching for suspects.

In another Northeast shooting, a man was shot at a block party in the 1500 block of 45th Street NE about 1 a.m., according to police. The man was taken to a hospital and his injuries are not life-threatening.
An hour later in Northwest, two men were shot in the 4800 block of Kansas Avenue NW. Police said one of the men died at the scene.
Another man was shot and killed just before 3 p.m. Sunday in the 4400 block of Quarles Street NE, police said.
Shortly before 8 p.m., a man was found with a gunshot wound in the 3500 block of Clay Place NE, police said. He was conscious and breathing. Police found another shooting victim nearby at 18th Place and C Street NE. Police said that person was also conscious and breathing.
