The Celebration of St. Mary’s River

Looking for a fun way to spend the day this weekend?  Why not come out and celebrate the St. Mary’s River in style at the 2009 Riverfest!?

This Sunday Sept. 27, from Noon to 6 p.m., the St. Mary’s River Watershed Association will host the enviro-focused family fun event at Historic St. Mary’s City. Admission is free for the event and the Museum.

With live local bands, skipjack rides, and critters on display, families and nature lovers of all ages are sure to have a blast. Great activities for the kids include pumpkin painting, touch tanks and clowns.
