LA PLATA, Md. – The Port Tobacco Players present Jesus Christ Superstar, an award winning musical and rock opera.

Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.

This production runs for four weekends including Easter Sunday – March 16 – April 8, 2018. Fridays & Saturdays at 8 p.m. | Sundays at 3 p.m.  $18 – Adults | $15 – Seniors/Students/Military
