Lexington Park, MD – June 22, 2016 – The Boeing Company, a longtime member and supporter of The Patuxent Partnership (TPP), has become TPP’s newest Benefactor.  As a founding member of TPP, Boeing has supported the Partnership since its inception in the 1990s.

“We are so pleased to add Boeing as a Benefactor member of TPP” said Bonnie Green, TPP Executive Director, “Boeing has provided invaluable support to many of our initiatives.”

Benefactors make up 3% of the total TPP membership and are the highest level of members within TPP.  Benefactor status is reserved for those corporate leaders which demonstrate the highest level of commitment to TPP, to initiatives designed to advance technology and workforce development and retention, and to the community.

Green went on to say, “We value our members and strive to provide programs to support their workforce needs and the science and technology critical to their success.  Our Benefactors are a critical component in determining those needs.  They help develop strategic goals and participate in establishing a path to achieve those goals.  Boeing will strengthen these efforts.”

Boeing joins an esteemed group of TPP Benefactors, to include: General Dynamics Information Technology, HTii, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, PAE, Raytheon and Wyle.

Walt Stammer III, Director of the Boeing NAS Patuxent River Field Office, said “TPP’s mission and support to the community are critical in developing and maintaining a quality workforce, current and future.  The entire community benefits from their workforce development and retention programs and Boeing is pleased to be part of that collaboration.”
