In the third crash in a week’s time, vehicles collided outside Spring Ridge Middle School on Rt. 235 south of Lexington Park just after 9:15 a.m. this morning.
The crash was not a serious as the two vehicle head-on crash a week ago that sent two drivers to hospitals via helicopter. Today it appeared a minivan was rear-ended and sent into a pole, and the other vehicle went crashing though a bank of mailboxes.
A third vehicle was involved, though it did not appear to have any damage.
Two minor neck and back injuries were reported by the drivers, and Bay District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue personnel responded immediately.
