Dep. John Harms made contact with the occupants of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Driftwood Beach in Lusby on February 2 at 12:27 a.m. With the assistance of Dep. Michael A. Jones and TFC Matthew A. Murphy and his K-9, a search of the vehicle was conducted and revealed suspected cocaine and marijuana.
Robert A. Hayden, 21 of Great Mills and Samuel G. Bowers III, 22 of Lusby, were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine.
