ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office executed multiple high-profile arrests this week, including the takedown of a long-sought fugitive in Glen Burnie and two men wanted on serious charges in separate operations across the county.

On August 4, 2025, deputies from the Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Daniel Lilly, 34, at a residence on Long Point Road in Crownsville. Lilly was wanted on multiple burglary charges stemming from a July 30 incident, including first-, third-, and fourth-degree burglary, as well as theft under $1,500. A resident confirmed Lilly was inside, and deputies located him in a bedroom without incident.

He was released on his own recognizance after a bail hearing the following day and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 3 in Annapolis Circuit Court.

On August 5, sheriff’s deputies located Charlie Lamb, 30, near the Festival at Riva Shopping Center in Annapolis. Lamb was wanted for failing to appear at a sentencing hearing for a probation violation tied to a 2023 second-degree assault conviction. Deputies said he attempted to disguise himself with a face covering and initially gave a false name, but was identified using booking photos.

He was taken into custody and is being held without bond. Court records show Lamb had repeatedly failed to comply with probation terms and missed a scheduled sentencing the day before his arrest. A new sentencing date is set for November 3 in Circuit Court.

Later that evening, while National Night Out events were underway, deputies closed in on Christopher Clendenin, 41, a Glen Burnie man indicted on 16 counts related to child pornography. Acting on a tip, deputies conducted surveillance near the 600 block of Geis Court and arrested Clendenin without incident.

Court documents show he is facing eight felony counts of promoting or distributing child pornography and eight additional misdemeanor charges for possession, all dating back to May 2023. A judge ordered Clendenin held without bond during a bail review hearing on August 6. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 3.

Separately, the Tactical Response Unit was deployed earlier in the week to assist with a tense eviction in Linthicum Heights. Deputies encountered a barricaded home on North Hammonds Ferry Road, where the occupant had used wooden planks and screws to obstruct entry points.

The individual was eventually taken into custody without injury and charged with trespassing, failure to obey a lawful order, and disorderly conduct.

All cases remain under investigation.
