WASHINGTON, D.C – On March 13, President Trump announced through Twitter that Rex Tillerson will be leaving the office of Secretary of State and will be replaced by CIA Director, Mike Pompeo. Trump also announced that Gina Haspel will serve as the first woman Director of the CIA.
Tillerson is the former chief executive of ExxonMobile and held the office of Secretary of State for little over a year before being let go.
Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State. He will do a fantastic job! Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!
