Together Again: Both Parties in Restraining Order Found in Car With Coke

At 11:34 pm on June 30, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle for failing to reduce high beams, on Route 235 at Joy Lane in Hollywood. 

The driver, John Vincent Medley, 42, of California, was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. 

A search incident to arrest revealed a smoking device containing burnt cocaine in the center console. 

A check through NCIC indicated an open protective order showing Mr. Medley was to have no contact with Lisa Sewell.  The passenger was identified as Lisa Rae Sewell, 40, of Lexington Park. 

Medley was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of CDS paraphernalia, DUI and violation of a protective order. 

Ms. Sewell was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 

Both were taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
