Leonardtown, MD – Wynne Briscoe, a business consultant representing the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), a federally funded program delivering expertise and resources to small and large businesses, facilitated a brainstorming session Monday, June 12 with the eclectic and diverse membership of the Leonardtown Business Association (LBA). Each business owner identified obstacles and opportunities they encountered in areas such as marketing, outreach, branding and shared this information with each other. A business to business coalition, the LBA, is a “community of businesses” on a mission and their recurring theme is “community.”
The action agenda adopted by the group was to form a Master Mind Task Force to be led by LBA Vice President Ellen Lewis, who is the owner of Crazy for Ewe Yarns.
