
Chesapeake Beach, MD – Officials the Town of Chesapeake Beach announced Friday, June 15 that the Chesapeake Beach Water Park has experienced structural damage that requires further investigation. The townโs priority is to work towards resolution and reopen the Park for patrons to enjoy.
The townโs Department of Public Works expects to be able to determine what is needed for repair by Monday, June 18. The town intends to have repairs take place immediately with as little impact to the water park hours as possible.ย
Employees of the Park will hear from their managers with further instructions and dates to expect to return to work.ย For next weekโs swim lessons, water park staff will update the web site as soon as they know which day the park can re-open. ย
