Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack Trooper J. Quase initiated a traffic stop on Saturday, August 16th at 10:49 a.m. on a grey passenger car on Great Mills Road and Kay Drive for a minor traffic violation.
The driver, Dimitri J. Sharp, 23, of Temple Hills, attempted to drop a small baggie containing CDS on the ground while speaking with Tpr. Quase.
Mr. Sharp was arrested and charged with CDS Possess – Not Marijuana and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
