After conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of state Route 260 westbound and Cornwall Road in Chesapeake Beach on July 10 at noon, Dep. Thomas Rickard discovered a metal pipe (commonly used to inhale a controlled dangerous substance into the body) with burnt marijuana residue inside.
The driver, later identified as Christopher Dallas Doss, 32 of Chesapeake Beach, initially gave a false name.
He was arrested and charged with false statement to a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
