ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — Six suspects have been arrested in connection with a regional burglary ring linked to dozens of commercial break-ins across Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas, police said.
Authorities say the group is connected to more than a dozen overnight burglaries targeting businesses in Anne Arundel County between February and April 2026, with suspects typically forcing entry and stealing cash.
Following a joint investigation with regional law enforcement partners, officers identified the suspects and tracked them to Howard County, where they were taken into custody while allegedly attempting another burglary in Columbia.
Police said the arrests are believed to have ended a string of dozens of commercial burglaries across multiple jurisdictions over the past three months.
The suspects were identified as Isaac Anderson, 21, of Washington, D.C.; Alphonso Wilson, 20, of Washington, D.C.; Zevian Jones, 21, of Washington, D.C.; Damari Day, 23, of Capitol Heights; and Roderick Thomas, 21, of Suitland. A 17-year-old male from Washington, D.C. was also arrested.
Authorities said the adult suspects face multiple charges including burglary, theft, and destruction of property across several jurisdictions.
All adult suspects are being held without bond at the Howard County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue working with partner agencies to identify additional cases tied to the group.
