ST. LEONARD, Md. – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize and honor four outstanding young men for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout as members of Troop 407. Sheriff Ricky Cox had the privilege of presenting each Scout with a “Sheriff’s Salute” during a prestigious Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony held in St. Leonard on Jan. 3, 2026.

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout represents years of dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to leadership, community service, and personal growth. This remarkable achievement reflects the character and values these young men carry forward into their futures.

Please join us in congratulating Eagle Scouts Patrick Jenkins, Jeremiah Jenkins, Philip Jenkins, and Patrick Surfus. We commend each of you for embodying the true spirit of service and commitment to your community. A special acknowledgment to Jeremiah Jenkins as he prepares to serve in the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Thank you for your willingness to serve our great country.
