On Friday, July 16 at 3:18 a.m., while attempting to locate suspects in an unrelated case, TFC J. A. Pilkerton observed two subjects walking down the road in the area of Yorktown Road in Lexington Park.
Upon attempting contact with both individuals for identification purposes, one subject fled the area on foot. TFC Pilkerton apprehended the subject, identified as Jason Michael Reintzell, 32, of Lexington Park, further down on Yorktown Road. A query through METERS/NCIC revealed Mr. Reintzell had an outstanding warrant through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department.
A search incident to arrest also revealed Marijuana on Mr. Reintzell’s person. Mr. Reintzell was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
