LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision this evening which is sending two people to the hospital.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on November 29, first responders were called to the scene of Three Notch Road and Park Hall Road for the accident. Reports indicated that two vehicles had been involved in a t-bone style collision.

Upon arrival, crews discovered one vehicle still in the roadway, and the other which had come to rest in a ditch.

According to an eyewitness on the scene, the red vehicle seen in the pictures was in the process of making a u-turn in the road and was struck in the side of the vehicle.

Two patients have been taken to a nearby hospital for additional treatment, one from each vehicle. All injuries are believed to by non-life-threatening at this time.

Three Notch Road is expected to remain closed temporarily in the area of the accident at this time.
