LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On July 1, 2024, at approximately 7:50 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a multiple-vehicle collision on Point Lookout Road in the area of Shanti Medical Center.
Crews arrived to find a rear-end collision with three vehicles involved and multiple occupants injured. EMS evaluated the patients on the scene and transported two to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. One care refusal was signed on the scene.
Police continue to investigate the collision.
