
WALDORF, Md. — Two people were injured late Sunday night after a vehicle crashed into a yard in Waldorf.
The crash was reported around 11:47 p.m. on May 17, 2026, in the 3700 block of Old Washington Road.
Upon arrival, crews located the vehicle in a yard. Initial reports indicated a 45-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were inside the vehicle, and both were injured in the crash.
Emergency crews requested Maryland State Police Aviation. Trooper 2 landed at Bensville Park before flying the 44-year-old man to MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The 45-year-old woman was transported by ambulance to University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
Ambulance 789 was reported to have struck a utility pole during the response.
The crash remains under investigation.
