LA PLATA, Md. — Two people were taken to a hospital Sunday night after a crash in the area of Durham Church Road and Ironsides Road in La Plata.
The crash was reported around 9:15 p.m. on May 17, 2026. A 911 caller witnessed the crash and reported the vehicle had been traveling fast before it crashed.
Upon arrival, crews located both occupants out of the vehicle and walking around.
Emergency crews transported two patients, a 23-year-old woman and a 17-year-old male, to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
