On Dec. 19, police reported that Emily Mae Samone and Caitlin Rose Stewart, both 19 and from Hollywood, arrived at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center in an attempt to deliver allowable items for an inmate.
The items (thermal underwear and shoes) were searched and found to contain items of contraband. Rolling papers and tobacco were discovered in the soles of the shoes.
Lt. Michael R. Merican and Correctional Officers detained the Suspects. Deputy Timothy Reese charged the suspects with possession of contraband and possession with the intent to deliver contraband into the Detention Center.
