A three-vehicle crash at approximately 11:15 a.m. today closed a section of Rt. 231 near Animal Shelter Road in Hughesville.

A witness on the scene told The Bay Net it appeared two trucks and a car were involved. Two helicopters were seen arriving to transport patients.

Police on the scene at about 11:30 a.m. said the road was likely to be closed for up to three hours for cleanup and investigation.
