On May 4, 2011 deputies responded to Lewin Lane in Valley Lee, Maryland for a report of an unwanted guest. Deputies responded and stopped a vehicle as it was exiting the complainant’s property. The unwanted guest was the passenger of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Melissa Joy Bennett, 18 of Valley Lee, Maryland. Further investigation and a consent search of the vehicle revealed Bennett was in possession of prescription medication, Percocet not prescribed to her. Bennett was arrested and charge with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Percocet.
