At approximately midnight Monday monrning, March 26 a reported bomb threat was called in through a 911 hangup.
It was reported that there wasย a bomb in a blue car in the second rowย in Lexington Village on Liberty Street.ย
The K9 unitย arrived on the sceneย at 12:18 a.m.. The call was traced to the area of Old Great Mills Professional Park.
The entire area was sealed off, including Pacific and Liberty Street and the intersection of Pegg Road and Libertyย Street.ย
The area was thoroughly scanned and no dangerous devices were found. The call is thought to be an irresponsible hoax. This fake call summoned hard-working law enforcement officials in the middle of the night and cost the county tax payers dollars to secure the area.
