UPDATE 11:44 a.m.
Two people were on the boat that capsized and are now safely on shore.
Rescue crews will remain with the capsized boat until the Coast Guard arrives for safety to prevent other boats from hitting the sinking vessel.

Several rescue crews from Solomons and Prince Frederick are on the scene of a capsized boat in Solomons. Rescue crews got the call shortly before 11 a.m.
Preliminary reports indicate the passengers on the boat have been rescued. It is unclear how many passengers there were and what kind of vessel they were on at the time the boat capsized.
No injuries other than exposure have been reported at this time.
