The St. Mary’s Bureau of Criminal investigations has provided the following information, which is being used to update last night’s alert regarding a robbery at the Food Lion in Charlotte Hall.

At approximately 8:30 p.m.on June 24, a suspect described as a white male in his 30’s, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 190 pounds and  wearing jean shorts, an orange shirt, red hat, white tennis shoes, sunglasses and a beige bandana over his face, entered the Food Lion Store in Charlotte Hall.

The suspect placed his hand over a bulge in his shirt and handed a store cashier a note, which demanded money. The store employee complied handing over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled in what was described as a white four door sedan.

St. Mary’s BCI detectives provided photographs of the suspect and are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or have information about this crime to contact Detective David Alexander directly at (301) 475-4200, ext.1954 or call Crime Solvers at (301) 475-3333.
