At this time based on conversations with law enforcement officials, we have changed from a lockdown status to partial lockdown at Northern Middle, Northern High, Mt. Harmony Elementary and Sunderland Elementary schools.
In partial lockdown, students and parents have controlled access to the school. Classroom instruction is continuing as normal. All other schools north of Prince Frederick continue on high alert.
Calvert County Schools have been notified by law enforcement that there has been a robbery in the Chaneyville Road area. We are consulting with law enforcement and have placed Northern Middle, Northern High, Mt. Harmony Elementary, and Sunderland Elementary Schools in a full lockdown.
We will continue to work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors to our schools.
