Members of the community is being asked to help the American Red Cross with the urgent need for blood. There will be a blood drive on Friday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VFW Post 881 located at 2310 Old Washington Road in Waldorf.
The American Red Cross has advised that there is an urgent need for donors throughout the state of Maryland and they are in need of major community support.
